On Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 (Easter Sunday) March 2024, handball club Jupiter ’76 from Franeker will organize the international indoor handball tournament for the “Jupitercup” for the 31st time. This big tournament will take place in sports complex “De Trije” in Franeker.
This complex has 4 playing fields under one roof and on both days ca. 1.000 players will compete for the famous JupiterCup. The tournament is organized for youth and senior players in 4 age categories and specified in the invitation letter. In 2023, teams from Denmark, Germany, France and, of course, the Netherlands participated. Both ladies and gentlemen will be played in four age categories:

Of course, in addition to the handball, we also provide entertainment.
Thus, the tournament will start with a disco night in sports canteen ‘de Trije’. Saturday there will be a Tropical Party at the local indoor swimming paradise; Bloemketerp swimming pool.
This is open to the youth free of charge.
For adults, the catering entrepreneurs will provide the necessary entertainment in the center of Franeker.
At the conclusion of the tournament we will of course have the award ceremony and we will close the Sunday evening with a smashing Goodbye Party.
The goal is to be able to tell you definitively around Jan. 15, 2024 whether or not your association can participate in this tournament.
Registration for the 2024 Jupiter Cup is possible until January 1, 2024 at the latest.
