On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 (Easter Sunday) April 2023, handball club Jupiter ’76 from Franeker will organize the international indoor handball tournament for the “Jupiter Cup” for the 30th time. This big tournament will take place in sports complex “De Trije” in Franeker.
This complex has 4 playing fields under one roof and on both days ca. 1.000 players will compete for the famous JupiterCup. The tournament is organized for youth and senior players in 4 age categories and specified in the invitation letter. In 2022, teams from Denmark, Germany, France and, of course, the Netherlands participated. Both ladies and gentlemen will be played in four age categories:

Of course we take care in addition to the handball also for entertainment. On Friday the 19th of April there will be a disco-Night that will take place in the sports complex. Saturday night there will be a Tropical Party in the local swimming pool, this is free for the youth. For adults, the HORECA entrepreneurs provide the necessary entertainment in the centre of Franeker. To conclude the tournament there will be on Sunday evening the award ceremony followed by a sparkling Goodbye Party.
The goal is to be able to give you final notice around Jan. 15, 2023 whether or not your association can participate in this tournament.
Registration for the 2023 Jupiter Cup is possible until January 1, 2023 at the latest.
